Today, we have launched a partnership with Apigee, the leading provider of API technology and services that will help developers gain fast and comprehensive access to our APIs via a new API console.
It provides an enhanced experience for developers that want to access Telefonica’s network of assets and data, including APIs for SMS, MMS, user contextual information, advertising and location.
Telefónica is the first operator in the world to offer between 10 percent and 50 percent of the revenue generated by API transactions to developers. In addition, we give developers 70 percent of any application sales and recurring subscription revenue. Here’s a video demo of our new console in action:
