If you’ve visited BlueVia.com this week, you’ll have seen our newly redesigned website. Here’s a quick update on why we’ve changed it.
We spend a lot of time in the developer community – we’re a developer programme, after all – and our aim is to be open, honest and approachable. But our website felt too distant, too corporate. In short, there was a disconnect between it and our day-to-day relations with developers.
We also wanted to make it easier for visitors to the website to understand what we’re about. If you’re a developer, winning = more time making great applications and less time trying to find information online.
- In line with that, we’ve made it easier to locate key information about our APIs, so that you can see how easy it is to implement them.
- We’ve put greater focus on what we can do to promote your apps worldwide, and how to succeed in mobile with our Mobile Developer’s Guide to the Galaxy (PDF).
- We’ve collected some inspiring case studies to get you thinking about the possibilities, along with an illustrated guide to API features.
We’d love to hear what you think. Let us know in the comments or connect with us via Twitter or Facebook. If you haven’t signed up already, now is the perfect time to join BlueVia, grab an API key and start crafting the next groundbreaking app.
