As you know, BEW Hackathon took place in Sao Paulo from 26-27 May. The event was a great success. @davilgrau – who barely slept during the Hack – said that it was a nonstop creating, developing and designing party! There was a very high standard of developers and we seriously believe that the winners should develop their ideas in the market.

Hackathon started on Saturday morning and finished on Sunday at 13.00. Twenty-five people participated in it, including teams from BlueVia, Vivo, Evernote, Wayra and Appies. Their challenge was to create apps that used Evernote and BlueVia APIs.
Our friend Dirceu Pauka Jr., developer of Appie and the event organizer, was a great host. Luis Samra, Evernote’s General Manager, Latin America, said: “We are very happy with the results. We have already done many competitions and the quality seen here has been very high. We are impressed!”

1st Prize: EV by Roberto Civille.
2nd Prize: SpotWish by João Otero, Rafael Jannone, Júlio Turolla, Maxwilliam Miorim, Marcelo Hama.
3rd Prize: EverAsk – Richard Brochini, Patricia Azevedo and Augusto Camargo.
